HABITS - A SIX PART STUDY IN SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES
WAYS TO CONNECT WITH GOD AND DEEPEN YOUR FAITH
All spiritual disciplines are practical ways we apply or obey whatGod has said or commanded in His Word. But doing something good and healthy one time (like eating a single piece of broccoli) does not equate to a healthy lifestyle. Any activity does not become healthy until it becomes a habit.
This same idea applies to our life with God. No matter how long a person claims to have been a follower of Jesus, they are still practicing. They are still developing and reinforcing good spiritual habits. There is always room for new insights.
This study was designed to help you on that journey.
Habits (Spiritual Disciplines) included in this study: Bible study, prayer, stewardship, fasting/silence/solitude, evangelism, and service. There are many more. But these offer an excellent opportunity for us to experience some of what Paul meant when he instructed Timothy, “Train yourself to be godly” (1 Timothy4:7).
It’s time to develop some good spiritual habits.
